About our Founder :

HENA MARRERO

As a mother I want to leave the world a better place for my son and for all children.

I was born in India and early in my career, worked for UNICEF where I met my husband.

When we moved to the US twenty seven years ago, I parlayed my passion for good design into a home décor business.

Travelling across our country, I saw that virtually all the shopping bags were plastic. I knew I could do better.

I found my calling: to create strong bags made from fibers nature gave us, that would make consumers look good and feel good.

Returning to my roots in India, I worked with a manufacturer who shared my passion and vision to create beautiful bags made from traditional materials and techniques, adapting them to the needs of the modern consumer.

We’ve created reusable bags that are beautiful and sustainable, paying attention to detail and quality.

I look forward to sharing them with you and your customers.
